Swayam is a workshop designed to facilitate the participants to connect with themselves. Swayam is a simple 4 step programme designed to introduce the participants to the different aspects of meditation and its practice. It offers 4 types of mediation sessions for one hour each. spread over a period of 4 weeks.

In these weekly sessions the participants are introduced to the theoretical aspects of the meditation of the day followed by the meditation itself.

It helps the participants connect with themselves, de-stress, gain inner peace and improve many other areas of their personal and spiritual lives.

Each participant is given a CD of all the meditations practiced during the programme for his/her personal use and daily practice.


What is meditation?

Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.

How to meditate?

Osho says, when people come to me and they ask, "How to meditate?" I tell them, "There is no need to ask how to meditate, just ask how to remain unoccupied. Meditation happens spontaneously.  Just ask how to remain unoccupied, that's all. That's the whole trick of meditation - how to remain unoccupied. Then you cannot do anything. The meditation will flower."

Meditation is training your mind to remian thoughtless. We are so pre-occupied with our daily chores and the worries associated with them, that we forget the actual capabilities of our mind. Meditation is like a trek on a mountain. When you reach the top, you can see the vastness of the universe, of which we are oblivious of in our daily routines.
